Common Motors today announced enhancements to the automobile structure and battery coolant technique in the Chevrolet Volt that would further protect the battery from the possibility of an electrical fire occurring days or weeks right after a serious crash.
The enhancements come in response to a National Highway Visitors Safety Administration Preliminary Evaluation to examine post-serious crash battery performance.
