DoE spends $43 million on electric automobile battery investigation

The Division of Power these days announced that 19 transformative new projects will obtain a total of $ 43 million in funding from the Department’s Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E) to leverage the nation’s brightest scientists, engineers and entrepreneurs to build breakthrough power storage technologies and support promising modest organizations. These projects are supported via two new ARPA-E programs -- Advanced Management and Protection of Energy Storage Devices
