Chinese automaker BYD will soon be operating a fleet of 49 electric automobiles as emissions-totally free taxis in the capital of Colombia. BYD will provide 49 of its e6 EVs to Bogota for what will be the initial all-electric taxi fleet in South America. 3 far more e6 EVs will be offered for Colceincias, Bogota's Technologies, Science and Innovation Administration. The taxi fleet will go live sometime by March 2013.
