Rome in a Whirlwind - A Guide to 6 Hours in the Eternal City

>...

It is possible to see almost everything is within 6 hours in Rome. OK, not everything, but enough to fill your photo album and your Facebook friends!

...

For those of you who are lovers of art, church architecture buffs and fans of The Da Vinci code-breakers to the Grand Tour is not for you. However, there are many of you out there only a night or two in Rome and booked her wondering if you have enough time or see it all .... So you will not see everything, but you can get a picture in front of almost every major town in a few hours. We have recently jumped into the car at 07:00 for a day trip to Rome from our farmhouse in Le Marche with a friend in tow that he never saw the Eternal City.

...

This is exactly the "tour" is my last week in the 6 o'clock:

...

Arrive at the Spanish Steps to start the tour, even the car is no problem to find affordable parking centrally located. (Parking Ludovisi: Via Ludovisi 60, 2.20 Euro / hour to 18 Euro / day) Walk on the Spanish Steps, notice all the couples kissing photos were snapped

....

(Possible diversion for high-end shopping along the Via dei Condotti)

...

Follow the signs to the Trevi Fountain ...
Throwing in your money to ensure your return. (Maybe next time you'll have more time in Rome!) If you are able to plan the right, visit the Trevi Fountain at dusk or late at night for a whole different feel, less crowded more romantic.

...
Spring for the audio tour, it's just a few minutes and a few bucks -. Well worth the time and the euro

After his neck was sore from looking at the whole in the ceiling and wondering how they do it? Make your way through the city in Piazza Navona, this would be the ideal time for gelato. Luckily you're not far from the famous Gelateria Giolitti (over Uffici del Vicario 40) is certainly worth a stop (albeit a small tourist), they still make fantatic gelato - after all that walking, splurge for a medium (3 scoops)

happy and thinking that you could eat the other, began to work their way to Piazza Navona, as you make your way around the corner of a lively street musicians will welcome you. Marvel at the fountain compete for photographs in the long rectangular Piazza Navona is full of cafe's, tourists, artists and arhitekture.Savršeno place for a glass of wine for people to watch if you like this crowd.

If you are looking for different Scence, then weave through the streets of Camp di Fiori for an incredible market and the hip vibe - Pick up a lunch of fresh vegetables or try the fried fish. It's a little hard to find, but just down the street is phenomenal fried fish joint that we visited years ago. Fried salt cod, wrapped in paper. That's it and it was sooo good! Filettaro Santa Barbara, in the Largo dei Librari 88, located in a small square just to the Campo dei Fiori square itself. Other legs, drink some wine and eat.
Now back on track!

Now back on track!

...

Find Via Nazionale and head straight for the massive monument to Italy's first president Vittorio Emanuele, Piazza Venezia.

...

steer clear of the aggressive Roman soldiers in costume (if you have taken photos of them from far away to use the zoom) otherwise attempt to strong arm you into paying for your photos. And for the grand finale - a snap that little out of focus photo in front of the Colosseum

!

Now jump in the cab back to your hotel or car, you must be exhausted!
(It is always recommended, the travel market)
