Alcatel has been making use of Android to power its smartphones, but it appears it will be moving into Windows Phone territory - not high-finish WP8 devices, but an entry-level WP7.8 phone instead.
It will probably be named Alcatel 1 Touch View and its specs make it a competitor to the Nokia Lumia 610 and the rumored Lumia 510.
