Ford pools EV, hybrid analysis as fuel costs jump

Ford Motor Co is devoting one of its biggest investigation laboratories to the development of hybrid, plug-in hybrid and electric vehicles as element of a concentrate on fuel-efficiency that has been a centerpiece of its revival given that late 2006.
