A group of Korean scientists, operating at the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technologies (UNIST), have created a fast-charge lithium-ion battery that can be recharged 30 to 120 instances more quickly than standard li-ion batteries. The group believes it can build a battery pack for electric cars that can be fully charged in much less than a minute.
