Toshiba today announced its Li-ion battery monitor chipset for automotive applications. The chipset includes the industry's first battery monitor IC capable of checking up to 16 cells per a single IC, which simplifies style and lowers fees by decreasing the number of elements essential in an automotive battery monitoring program.
