In of those rare moments when advertisers not only manage to get the message by way of but also capture our attention with their commercials, Toyota launched a series of ads to promote the lately facelifted HiLux pickup truck.
The typical theme line for the humorous Television spots, which had been shot for Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, is that the new HiLux is "unbreakable" and extremely lovable – or so Toyota claims.
