France increase EV and hybrid sales to help ailing automobile sector

The French government, dealing with the imminent closure of a Peugeot vehicle plant, presented an help plan for the flagging auto market on Wednesday.
The new offering will enhance money incentives for purchasers of totally electric cars to 7,000 euros ($ eight,500) from 5,000 euros at present.
Subsidies on hybrid automobiles, made in France by Peugeot but also by Toyota, will double to four,000 euros.
