A mother and her young kid who was sitting in the passenger seat of a Volkswagen Golf Plus miraculously survived a chilling accident in Russia earlier this month when debris from a crash on the other side of the road flew into their compact MPV.
Video footage from the dashboard mounted camera on the Volkswagen model shows a detached metal piece from the guardrail heading towards the car, which at the time, was rapidly-moving on the highway, piercing the windshield.
